Christine earned a B.S. in Nursing from BYU in 1989. She began her career in healthcare as a nurse for 11 years.
During her first year in nursing, she was promoted to Administrator/Director and continued her medical work in similar roles for 10 more years. In 1999, after 10 years into her medical career, she decided to academically develop the business side of her profession and earned a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. In 2000, she left full-time work in the medical field to expand her business skills, accepting a director position for a global chemical company, where she focused on global operations and international business. After 12 years in that capacity, she accepted a position in academia at her alma mater in 2012 as the Director of Enrollment Services.
