Forms of Payment

Payments should be made through My Financial Center. You can also make payments in person or through mail.

Online Payments on My Financial Center

My Financial Center is your BYU online finance system. The easiest way to handle payments and charges is online via eCheck.

1. eCheck (most preferred method)
This method securely deducts payments directly from a checking or savings account. A routing and account number are required. To ensure sufficient funds are available to process an eCheck, refunds will not be processed until 14 days after the payment date.

2. Credit Card/Debit Cards
Credit and debit cards can be used to pay tuition and fees, program fees, and short-term loans. An additional non-refundable processing fee will be charged for credit card transactions. No processing fee will be charged for all other student account charges.

  • Credit Card Refund Policy: Existing credit card regulations prohibit BYU from issuing a cash or check refund when you pay by credit card, and from making any adjustment to the charges paid. When you pay by credit card and the amount of your charges is reduced, we are required to refund the difference to the credit card used for the payment. No part of the convenience fee will be refunded, even though a refund has been made to the credit card.

Other Ways to Pay Charges

  • You can make a payment in person at the Enrollment Services Office (3326 WSC). Cash and paper checks are accepted.
