Past-Due Accounts

It is important to make payments on time, every time. However, there are specialists to help you resolve late payments and outstanding balances.

Student account fees (tuition, health plan, citations, etc.) may end up in collections once they reach 90 days past-due. Once a charge has been assigned to collections, you will not be able to pay it on My Financial Center and you will need to contact the collection agency.

Please review your My Financial Center regularly and pay all your charges on time to prevent collection efforts. If you have questions about past-due charges, you can contact the Collections Office by emailing sfs_collections@byu.edu.

If there are charges that you do not agree with, please contact the department that placed the charge on your account.
