Darron started working at BYU in 1998. He and his wife Jodi joined their two families in 2011. They have 10 daughters and one son between them. The son was adopted to spice things up with the girls. He loves pistachios, double pepperoni pizzas and movies where the dialog matters. Darron operates a tropical fish business out of his home, buying, selling and breeding tropical fish. He served a mission in Iceland and taught Icelandic on campus for 3 years.
