McKell was raised in Heber City, Utah and a WHS alumni. She went to Snow College and earned her Associates degree, then transferred to BYU and received a B.S. in Public Health with an emphasis in Epidemiology. She started working as a student employee at BYU and has never left! She enjoys dancing, McDonald's, retail therapy, and having fun with family and friends.
