Memo has worked in a higher education capacity for 15 years and thoroughly enjoys helping students in their educational and professional pursuits. He is a proud son of immigrant parents from Mexico and a first- generation college student, who completed a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from Boise State University in 2008 and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Idaho State University in 2014 and is currently a doctoral student in the McKay School of Education in Educational Leadership at BYU. He has devoted his career to serving students in higher education, in particular, advocating for and helping underrepresented students. Memo and his better half Sharen are the parents of two children and together, they enjoy watching movies and TV shows, going on car rides to see family in Idaho, playing games, and seeing who has better dance moves.
