Financial Fitness - Manager

I earned a BS degree in Financial Services and a masters degree in Public Administration from BYU. I began working for the BYU Financial Aid Office as a student and subsequently served as a Financial Aid Counselor for 9 years, and Financial Aid Director for 6 years. I also worked for the Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority (UHEAA), BYU's Benefits Office, TIAA-CREF, and LDS Foundation.

I now serve as the Manager of the BYU Financial Fitness Center. With over 20 years of experience advising students on their financial concerns, I'm pleased to serve in this role at the university.

I also teach SFL 260, Family Finance, at the BYU Salt Lake Center. I maintain a strong professional interest in financial education and enjoy helping students plan and prepare financially for their college years and for life beyond campus.

I'm married and have 5 children and 7 grandchildren. Life is good –and busy! And, as a return missionary from Italy, I love all things Italian.

My favorite quote is:
Our doubts are traitors, and cause us to lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt.
-William Shakespeare
