Parent & Family Newsletter

Students can subscribe parents, family, or others to receive a regular newsletter about how to navigate BYU, dates, deadlines, and other helpful tips.

The Parent and Family Newsletter shares regular news, information, and tips for parents, family members, or others of BYU students.

To ensure subscribers receive timely and relevant content about their student’s stage at BYU, we need an email to be connected to a specific student. A student must log in and subscribe an email address to the Parent and Family Newsletter email.

Recipients can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in the email footer.


You must log in and subscribe your parent(s) or others to receive the Parent & Family Newsletter emails. The email addresses you subscribe will not receive personal information about your account or school record. Rather, we need you to log in and subscribe others just so that we can send pertinent content to your student situation (new student, continuing student, deferred missionary, etc.).


This will help us know if your student is preparing to come to campus, in their first year of school, deferred for missionary service, or a continuing student. You will be able to receive the information you need, when you need it, rather than receiving generic information for the whole student body.
