Amber graduated from BYU with a BA in Math Education and taught math at Kearns Junior High for a few years. Then she spent 10 years working in scholarships as an Accounting Specialist, Scholarship Counselor, Student Service Coordinator, and Assistant Director of Scholarships in the University of Utah Financial Aid and Scholarships Office. Amber was excited for the chance to return to her alma mater to work in the Enrollment Services Office and with the amazing students at BYU. Outside of the office, Amber loves to spend time with her family, including her 35 nieces and nephews, traveling, and reading.
Amber's goal is to do her best to understand the diverse experiences and perspectives of students so she can help to support their success both inside and outside of the classroom, help them find the resources they need to thrive, and provide a safe space for them to share who they are.
