Amber graduated from BYU with a B.A. in Math Education and taught math at Kearns Junior High for a few years. Then she spent 10 years working in scholarships as an Accounting Specialist, Scholarship Counselor, Student Service Coordinator, and Assistant Director of Scholarships in the University of Utah Financial Aid and Scholarships Office. She was excited about the chance to return to her alma mater to work in the Enrollment Services Office with the amazing students at BYU. Outside the office, she loves spending time with family, including her 35 nieces and nephews, traveling, and reading.
Her goal is to understand students' diverse experiences and perspectives so she can support their success both inside and outside the classroom, help them find the resources they need to thrive, and provide a safe space for them to share who they are.
