Chasten earned a Bachelor of Science in Experience Industry Management from BYU and an Associate of Science in University Studies from Utah Valley University. He began his career with The Walt Disney Company in Orlando, Florida, where he worked in Parks & Resorts, specializing in tours and attractions, performing as a stilt walker, and supporting special events.
With professional experience spanning tourism and event marketing, travel and event programming, business development, and training. Chasten brings a diverse skill set to creating engaging and memorable on- and off-campus experiences. He's passionate about helping prospective students connect with BYU's spirit and mission as they explore their educational and spiritual journeys.
Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Chasten enjoys Cajun and Creole cuisine and sharing his love of travel and storytelling. He and his wife are raising their kids and enjoy exploring new destinations together. A Disney enthusiast, traveler, and content creator, Chasten leverages his background in hospitality and higher education to create meaningful experiences that inspire prospective students and their families.
