Dan spent his younger years in Lodi, CA, and his teens in Plymouth, MN. He then completed his undergraduate degree at BYU and a Master’s Degree at St. Cloud State University. He served a mission in Vancouver, Canada.
The years spent at BYU were an amazing period of time that left an enormous impact on his life educationally, socially, athletically, and spiritually. He loves to share that love of BYU with the next generation and help them find their educational pathway in his work at the BYU admissions department.
Dan’s previous work experience includes years at the corporate offices of industry giants such as General Mills and Petsmart, years spent in the tech industry at such companies as BambooHR, Deel and 15Five, as well as experience at small startups of less than 20 people.
Outside of work, he enjoys living the dad life alongside his wife and their kids, coaching baseball and football, and getting his family out to the ocean to surf as much as is possible for a resident of a land-locked state.
