Enrollment Services Counselor

I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York and served in the Colombia Cali Mission. I married my wife in 1982 in the Washington D.C. temple. We love to spend time with our kids and grandkids. I graduated from BYU. I coached football and taught math for many years at Snow College (1986-1991) and Ricks College (BYU-Idaho, 1991-2001). From 2001-2011, I was the Director of the BYU Student Athlete Academic Center. I was in High School Relations from 2011-2014. In 2014, I was called as a Mission President to Guatemala for 3 years. I enjoy hiking, biking, geography, photography, working out, eating, and serving.

As a counselor, my primary role is to support and promote student success both inside and outside of the classroom. I am also responsible to my institution and to the professional advising community. In order to best support my students, my institution, and the advising community.
