I started my college journey at Utah State University before serving a mission in Northern California. After returning home, I moved to Northwest Arkansas, where I worked and spent time with my family before transferring to BYU to study Family Life. Returning to school after almost five years felt intimidating, but the BYU community quickly welcomed me and surpassed my expectations.
