Biography
Sydney was born in Virginia and raised in northern Utah. She served a mission in Charlotte, North Carolina. She graduated from BYU-Idaho with a B.S. in Communication with a Digital & Social Media Marketing emphasis. She is currently earning a M.A. in Professional Communication with a Digital Media emphasis from Southern Utah University.
Before working at BYU, she was the Media Relations Specialist/Social Media Manager at BYU-Idaho. She managed and analyzed analytics for the university's official social media platforms, created and distributed official university messages to students and employees through email and news articles, and trained multiple university departments on various communication platforms.
She loves photography and videography, and uses that to document the many places she travels to. She also loves to play golf, cook/bake, and spend time with her family and friends.
