SFL 260: Family Finance
Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:

  • Apply quantitative reasoning skills to solve real world problems, and make informed decisions about financial products and services;
  • Specify goals, and formulate plans to realize important financial objectives;
  • Effectively manage financial resources within the family setting, and help family members to develop critical financial management skills;
  • Interact intelligently with financial professionals, and wisely assume responsibility for their own financial well-being;
  • Analyze important public policy issues related to personal finance, contribute to civic discourse, and adapt to changing circumstances.
