It's important to explore your interests and find a major that will best prepare you for your future career and life goals. We know that deciding on a major is a big decision however, choosing one as early as possible will significantly decrease your overall cost of attendance.
Also if you enroll and either fail or withdraw from classes, it will only increase your overall cost of attendance while making minimal progress forward toward completing your degree.
It is important that as soon as you are admitted as a cougar, to consult early and often with your academic counselor. They will ensure that the courses you’re taking will meet graduation requirements, are correctly sequenced, and that you are enrolled for a manageable course load.
