  • A freshman applicant is someone who has not completed any college/university work following high school graduation/secondary education completion.

  • During spring and/or summer term, high school graduates who are (or will be) actively pursuing a degree at another college or university are invited to be a part of the BYU community as non-degree-seeking students.

    Applications for 2022 and beyond will be evaluated by the Visiting Students program.
  • Many students choose to complete college coursework while still attending high school. These concurrent enrollment classes can help you fulfill general education requirements, while also helping you get a feel for what college is really like.

  • NOTE: This program is not to be confused with BYU Graduate Studies.
    The purpose of this program is to assist a limited number of students who have a bachelor’s degree but are not enrolled in a graduate program.

  • Students who have already received a bachelor’s degree are not eligible to receive a second bachelor’s degree at BYU. Visit the Graduate Studies website for information about pursuing a postgraduate degree.
