Convocations

Each college holds convocations to recognize graduates by name.

If you graduate within the 2024-25 academic year, you are invited to participate in the April 2025 graduation ceremonies (including commencement and convocations). At convocation, your name is read and you "walk" up to be recognized and receive a diploma cover. The college dean presides at convocation, and the ceremony lasts approximately 1-2 hours. Family and friends are welcome, although some convocations require tickets. Graduating students must wear a cap and gown to participate in convocation. Your college can provide more specific details about your convocation ceremony.
