Fall Fast Start Program
The Fall Fast Start Program was created to support you!
We want to see you succeed and will be by your side every step of the way as you start this new adventure! Students who participate in the Fall Fast Start Program receive the following benefits:
$500 Scholarship
$500 scholarship for up to eight semesters as long as you continue to participate in the program (more information on this later).
Cohort-Based Learning
An opportunity to take several classes with the same group of students so you can build relationships that can last throughout your university experience.
Organized Activities
Activities with your Fast Start classmates organized by the university and free to you.
Holistic Advisement
The opportunity to work closely with faculty and administrators to transition smoothly to the university.
Fall Fast Start Program Requirements
We are excited to have you join us for the upcoming Fall Fast Start Program. Below are the requirements for participating in the program.
- Must be able to attend fall semester 2023 (September 5 - December 14, 2023) or defer for a mission
- Enroll in the 7-credit envelope of classes; you may take other classes but must maintain enrollment in the envelope
- WRTG 150: Writing & Rhetoric (3.0 credits)
- First Year Foundations (2.0 credits)
- REL A 275: Teaching and Doctrine of the Book of Mormon (2.0 credits)
- Be a full time student for Fall 2023 (register for 12 total credits)
- Recommended: Complete and submit the FAFSA*
- Fill out the one-minute application (linked above) by April 15, 2023
*This recommendation does not apply for international students.
