Return of Title IV Funds (R2T4)
Students who withdraw from their courses for a semester or term in which they received federal student aid, may be subject to a Return of Title IV calculation. Prior to withdrawing, we encourage students to meet with an Enrollment Services Counselor to discuss the implications of withdrawing.
Return of Title IV Funds
Students who withdraw from all their courses in a semester or term in which they received federal student aid, may be subject to a Return of Title IV calculation. When federal financial aid funds are disbursed, the expectation is that the student will attend the entire period of enrollment for which the funds were awarded. If students only complete a portion of a semester or term, they may have potentially only earned a portion of their federal financial aid. In some cases, this means that funds must be returned to the government, otherwise known as Return of Title IV Funds (R2T4). Prior to withdrawing, we encourage students to meet with an Enrollment Services Counselor to discuss the implications of withdrawing.
