Fall 2024: You can add UNIV 101 to your fall 2024 schedule starting April 1. You do not need to add it to your cart or wait until your Priority Registration in June. -

Toggle ItemI already took UNIV 101. Why can't I add other classes?You will not be able to add other classes until you have completed UNIV 101 class with a passing grade.

Toggle ItemWhy can't I drop UNIV 101?You cannot drop UNIV 101 if you are required to take it. You are allowed to switch sections if it’s before the add/drop deadline. To switch sections, add the new section you want first.
If you do not intend to enroll for your first semester, drop all other classes, from any open semesters, from your registration cart and/or schedule, then try again to drop UNIV 101.
If you want to withdraw after the add/drop deadline and UNIV 101 is your last class, you will be directed to the discontinuance process. If UNIV 101 is not the last class left in your schedule, you will need to talk with the Office of General Education about withdrawing, email them at byu_foundations@byu.edu.
If you changed the semester you were initially admitted in order to start an earlier semester and you try to drop UNIV 101 from the semester you were initially admitted, you will not be able to drop UNIV 101 until it is your last class across all semesters for which you are registered. -
